If we stop eating beef to save the cows...where will these newly freed domesticated animals go? To a zoo? Will they become pets? These animals exist because man wanted meat on demand...not having to chase down and hunt wild animals whenever you want a steak is nice. Herding is much easier than hunting, just throw up a fence (to keep them in and predators out) and give them grain. But without a purpose, would they go extinct? Who'd be willing to raise a cow if you don't get any benifit out of it? How long would a domesticated cow live in the wild? Cows are pretty helpless without help from farmers....oh well
