i like working late
i like working late...no one's around to see my goofy antics. I got annoyed because both the color and black and white plotters are out of paper. Plotters print big maps...like 3 feet wide and 10 feet long. Too bad its almost midnight and no drafters are into help me change the rolls...slackers :p
anyways. I tried to change it and did sucessfully. and as an added bonus i took the cardboard tube at the center of the empty roll. Its like the cardboard tube inside the toilet paper roll but this tube is 3 feet long and 6 inches in diameter...about the right size for a didgeridoo...so i tried to play it... ( I learned how from some aussie's near Iraq), and got a big ole paper cut...across my entire upper lip. bummer
anyways, i'm blasting Bouncing Souls over my computer. i feel like zach braff in scrubs, but i have to be all professional, i have no peers at my office, everyone here is super old and all smart and drollishly boring...they talk about golfing and yachts and ac/dc.
oh yeah, and katie and i got a treadmill for our house this afternoon. they delivered it tonight, but they couldn't fit the box inside the front door, and they couldn't open the box by their contract. I had to go to work to night to get ready for a proposal tommorrow morning, so i had to get this massive box inside the house. So i had to cut open the box and muscle in all these super heavy and awkward components into the house myself...the one day i'm all alone in the house. That thing is heavy...like a couple hundred pounds..it sucked. i broke parts of my house off while trying to wrestle this thing in the door. oh well. it's cheaper than 6 months at the ymca and i probably burned more calories than a 45 minute hardcore cardio/weight session...all before its even assembled. Its all fancy, its even got a little fan built in to cool you down...and its got build in TV, VCR and stereo controls, and a heart moniter...saucy
