WHY IS EVERYTHING CHANGING!!!

I'm metamorphised in to one of those grumpy old men that can't keep up with technological innovations and grumble how simple the world was in their day..."None of these convoluted gidgits and widgets!" I can't program the VCR of my day anymore.
My hotmail account has changed it format to something that takes forever to load up, IE7 is just wierd as heck, and Blogger changed to Blogger Beta. I don't mind small gradual changes, but dramatic changes to user interfaces PISS ME OFF!!!
Its easier to learn to drive on the wrong side of the road and figure out the tube schedule than learning how to log onto blogger beta. I have to type in my hotmail account then my google account.
