Animals have it hard here. Today we saw a puppy that hobbled up to us, it looked like someone kicked it and broke its back hips. It was COMPLETELY covered in ticks where it couldn't reach. You couldn't see any fur on the back of its head or its ears because it was covered in engorged ticks. No one cared about it, no-one loved it. He looked like he was only 5 months old, all of us wanted to put it out of its misery, but none of us could. It followed us around the entire time we were at this location. It even tried to chase our vehicles and hop in...but we drove off.
