well, for all the stuff you hear about the Army's budget, they're certainly not shortfalling deployers. The Army has given me the first set of issue items. We've gotten at least $1000 in the best cold and wet weather gear I've ever seen.
This stuff is amazing, one item we've recieved are soft-shells that are better than northface jackets that would easily sell for $600 at REI.
We got goggles that are better and more comfortable than any ski goggle I've ever worn. This stuff is awesome.
We're getting a vast amount of info and training in a very short time. Big Army is taking very good care of us.
